MICHAEL Slater will be back on the box tonight for the new series of What's Good For You on NBN.
The former Test cricketer gained plenty of support from the Hunter Region when he appeared on Torvill and Dean's Dancing on Ice.Slater's mum Carole Smith and her husband Barry run Cafe de Beaumont in Hamilton and they were active in drumming up fans for his ice-skating venture.Slater, and his wife, public relations executive Joanna Lobban, are celebrating the birth of their first child, Jack Michael.Hosted by Sigrid Thornton, What's Good For You is a health show that aims to prove or disprove common myths such as does crossing your legs cause varicose veins?Slats is a reporter on the show.
